Motivation: | Trueblood was secretary of the US Peace Society. Editor of the periodical "The Advocate of Peace". He wrote "The Federation of the World" and he translated Kant's "Zum ewigen Frieden" into English. Trueblood attended most international peace conferences and was a member of the Commission of the Peace Bureau. He organized two peace congresses held in the USA (Chicago 1893 and Boston 1904) and was a member of the International Law Association. |
